Porsche Taycan Recalled Over Battery And Power Loss Issues 2021

The four-doored Porsche Taycan Electric is deemed to be recalled by Porsche for certain issues tied with the software that the car runs on. 

The issue can also lead the vehicle with a condition of a loss of power, and the issue is initially brought forward by the ‘Office Of Defects’ National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Knowing the certain issue with the software of the vehicle the company has also released a software update to near the end with a solution to those ridden with the issues. 

The recall of the vehicle affects majorly the 2020 and the 2021 Porsche Taycan and Porsche is planning to resolve the issues soon. 

Nearly 43,000 Taycans are affected and there goes an entire list of the vehicle including the Cross Turismo
NHTSA revealed a total of 9 Taycans totally losing the control 
6 of Porsche Taycans were not able to restart 
Porsche uses a 71kWh and an 83.7 kWh of the battery pack, the issues prevailed regardless of the battery size. 
Porsche has revealed a software update to resolve the issues

The following update, that the vehicles are receiving, would no longer hinder the driver’s drivetrain and the company has promised to solve the issues free of cost.
